By creating an account or using Selara, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Selara. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at kai.digital.studio@gmail.com.
Your password is used to encrypt your personal prayer content. If you lose your password and cannot recover your account, your encrypted content may be permanently unrecoverable. We have no ability to decrypt your data on your behalf.
Prayer requests, reflections, and other content you write in Selara belong to you. By using the app, you grant us the limited right to store and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
Your private journal content (prayers, reflections, answered prayer notes) is encrypted on your device before storage and cannot be read by Kai Digital Studio. Content shared in Prayer Circles is encrypted at rest, but is readable by all members of the circle — that is the intended design. Circle content does not carry the same zero-knowledge guarantee as your private journal.
You are responsible for anything you share, especially within Prayer Circles. Do not share content that is harmful, harassing, or unlawful.
Prayer Circles allow you to share prayer requests with a group of people you invite. When you post to a Circle, other members of that Circle can read what you share. Only share what you are comfortable sharing with your circle members.

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. Deleting your account permanently removes your data from our servers.
Selara is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about uptime, data retention, or fitness for any particular purpose. The app is not a substitute for pastoral care, counseling, or any professional service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kai Digital Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Selara.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
